Module 1

So here I go again - I have re-enrolled and am planning to finish Web2.0 this semester. My aim is then to encourage my other staff members to enroll for Semester 2 and to guide them in doing it through meetings each fortnight.
My first thoughts after completing Module 1 was "Holy Heck there's a lot out there." I think the best thing to do is to have a browse at all the Web2.0 tools out there and make them work for you - pick which ones you can use. I enjoyed reading the 25 tools article and took the time to go through them all. I had already used some Web2.0 tools, bother personally and in my teaching. I love Facebook and Flickr and used Wet Paint to build a class wiki last year. I have now installed Firefox to my PC and am loving it. I also reopened my iGoogle page and have added many gadgets so all my digital resources in one place. I am also very interested in using Evernote more as I am forever using my Stickies app on my MacBook Pro!
I am excited to finally have time to sit down and complete this inservice.
